Angels Outfielder Mike Trout Sees Phone Number Posted on Scoreboard, Joins List of MLB Prank Victims That Includes Kevin Youkilis, David Ortiz Imagine you're 19 years old, attending your first spring training and you see your phone number flashing on the scoreboard in the middle of a game.

That's exactly what happened to Angels outfielder Mike Trout on Monday.

Baseball analyst for the MLB Network Radio Jim Duquette tweeted that the team had the player's phone number listed on the scoreboard and encouraged fans to call him with questions.

Baseball America ranked Trout as the No. 85 prospect in the MLB before the 2010 season. Last year in the minor leagues, he posted a .300 batting average or better on three different farm teams at just 18 years old.

Players are often seen getting pranked on a minor level, such as getting a shaving cream pie to the face after a walkoff win, but only rarely do we hear of players getting pranked to this degree.

As funny as the joke on Trout was, where would you rank this prank amongst recent MLB pranks?

While Trot Nixon was with the Red Sox, he pranked younger teammate Kevin Youkilis by super gluing his suitcase while on the road in Texas.

Another Red Sox practical joke, which Jason Varitek reveals, includes the Red Sox front office calling for a rare, middle of the season security meeting "about a guy supposedly flashing people in the stadium." Little did they know, the players were watching a younger, scrawnier Kevin Millar doing karaoke to Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA." The video later became a Fenway Park sensation during the days of "Cowboy Up."

While on the Twins, David Ortiz was a victim of teammate Corey Koskie's prank. While Big Papi was showering, Koskie sneakily put peanut butter in his underwear. The best part of the prank? Ortiz didn't notice until he was fully dressed and leaving the locker room.

During Jason Schmidt's short stint with the Dodgers, he may not have been effective, but he managed to pull off a great prank. Before the game, he switched uniforms with Clayton Kershaw. Not only did fans take pictures with the young hurler, but the jumbotron also showed him wearing the wrong jersey during the National Anthem.

As funny as some pranks are to watch, some are actually very, very painful.

While Adam Piatt was playing with the Athletics, he pulled several practical jokes on his teammates. But when he returned to Oakland, Eric Byrnes and his teammates got him back by coating his jockstrap in Icy Hot. Piatt said it was the most miserable flight of his life.

However, Kyle Kendrick suffered one of the best sports pranks of all-time. Former teammate Wes Helms tells it best.

"This year in spring training when I was with the Phillies, they told Kyle Kendrick that he got traded to the Japanese league for the hotdog eater. They wrote up an original contract with the general manager and had his jersey made and everything made up in Japanese. They had his agent in on it, the media in on it, his mom in on it. He thought he was traded and the look on his face — I mean you can't — that's something I'll always remember. Everybody held their face for a good 15 minutes."
