Decide Which Red Sox Fan Does Best Job of Selling Red Sox to Liverpool Supporters

On the surface, a soccer club in England and a baseball team in America don’t have much in common. While parts of that may be true, when comparing the Red Sox and Reds, one glaring similarity is tough to miss: They have two of the best fan bases in the world.

Growing up in New England, people have Red Sox fandom sprung on them by just about everyone. Family and friends explain how great it is to be a Red Sox fan. Rooting for the team is part of a New Englander’s heritage and DNA.

But Liverpool supporters don’t yet have the Red Sox in their DNA (although they’re quite familiar with YNWA), even though the two franchises share the same owners. That’s where Red Sox Nation comes in.

NESN.com found five representatives of Red Sox Nation to help convince Liverpool supporters why they should root for the Red Sox. Which fan truly represents what it’s like to be a Red Sox fan? Which fan can sell the Red Sox brand to Liverpool fans?
