Manny Pacquiao Hoping to Meet President Barack Obama Not just any Filipino congressman can set up a meeting with President Barack Obama, but Manny Pacquiao is not just any Filipino congressman.

The best pound-for-pound boxer on the planet is planning a media tour this month, leading up to his bout with Shane Mosley in May. If he gets what he wants, a certain politician in Washington, D.C., will be the most important stop on the tour, according to FanHouse.

"I know that Manny really wants to see the president," Top Rank publicist Lee Samuels told the website. "We made calls to the White House [on Monday]. Manny has been asking to see the president since President Obama has gotten into office."

Given the worldwide popularity of both men, it's not crazy to believe that should this meeting ever happen, the Internet just might explode.

(And hey, if Pacquiao is really serious about this, perhaps he should send this YouTube link to Obama. It's flat-out impossible to say no after watching this killer jam.)
