Rajon Rondo Helping Refurbish Boston Basketball Courts With Each Steal This Season Rajon Rondo posts ridiculous stat lines just about every night, but there's one statistic that means something extra to the city of Boston.

Rondo sent a message out on his Twitter account Wednesday to announce that Back Bay Park in Boston is being refurbished as part of his program with Red Bull, which is donating $500 to rebuild basketball courts in Boston for every steal the point guard registers. Thus far, Rondo has 91 steals on the year, and with 30 steals saving one basketball court, he's already making a difference.

"Growing up in Louisville, I knew how important it was to have access to functional basketball courts," Rondo said on RedBull.com.

The three courts already chosen are Malcolm X Park in Roxbury and Smith Playground in the Allston/Brighton neighborhood. After recording four steals in Sacramento on Tuesday, Rondo announced that Back Bay Fens Park in the Kenmore area will be refurbished next.
