Vote: Who Is the Best Left-Handed Pitcher in the American League? There was a slew of southpaws vying for the American League Cy Young Award in 2010 but the league's top-three lefties — Jon Lester, David Price and CC Sabathia — were beat out by righty Felix Hernandez of the Seattle Mariners.

Despite falling short to King Felix last summer, these three aces — as well as the Rangers' C.J. Wilson — are expected to top the charts in 2011. But which lefty is considered the best in the AL?

Price led all qualified lefty hurlers with a 2.72 ERA while Sabathia posted a league-most 21 wins, which was tied with Phillies' ace and NL Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay for most in the MLB. Lester put up 19 wins and 225 strikeouts, the most among AL lefties. Wilson, who was serving as a full-time starter for the first time in his six-year carer, was no slouch either as the Rangers hurler went 15-8 with a 3.25 ERA.
