Bruins Know Another Battle Is on Tap for Game 6, But They Refuse to Let Up

The Bruins are winless in 26 chances when falling behind in a playoff series 0-2. On Tuesday, they have a chance to change that.

Following a dramatic double overtime thriller on Saturday — the 12th longest game in Bruins playoff history — the Bruins and Canadiens are enjoying two much needed days off. But it will be back to work at the Bell Centre on Tuesday night, where the Bruins look to close out the Habs and advance to the second round of the NHL playoffs for the third consecutive season.

The Bruins are 20-8 when winning Game 5 of a playoff series, and 17-4 when leading a series 3-2. But the Bruins know how difficult getting the final win of a series can be.

Patrice Bergeron leads the Bruins with six points through the first five playoff games, but it’s been a complete effort from the B’s thus far.

To hear what Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley have to say about Tuesday’s Game 6 matchup, as well as what the Bruins players are saying about closing out the series, check out the video above.
