There has been some debate as to where Zdeno Chara should be positioned on the power play. Some feel as though his size is an asset in front of the net, while others insist he should be at the point because of his big shot.
In the first period of Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, Bruins head coach Claude Julien elected to use Chara down in front of the net, which relegated Milan Lucic to the second power-play unit.
NESN's Gord Kluzak wonders how long Julien will stick with this strategy, and said that he feels as though Lucic needs to be out there where Chara was because of his quickness.
