Interleague Play Favors National League Clubs, Rules Need to be Revisited



Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis thinks interleague play needs to be rethought.

The National League teams have an advantage at home because American League clubs are built with the designated hitter in mind, Youkilis said. And when AL teams are at home, NL teams are allowed to use an extra position player in their lineup.
