Home Run Derby Participants Will Tweet Live During All-Star Event Here's the itinerary for the sluggers participating in the Home Run Derby on Monday:

1) Choose a good piece of lumber.
2) Launch a couple bombs into the bleachers.
3) Tweet about it.

David Ortiz, Jose Bautista and Matt Kemp will communicate with their tweeps throughout the three-round event, MLB.com reports. Other All-Stars gathered for the festivities will tweet along.

Texas Rangers pitcher C.J. Wilson — purported to be the first MLB player on Twitter — tweeted last week that he'll "be shooting HD video and sick photos during the Home Run Derby! And tweet live about it!"

Who can say no to sick photos from a home run derby?

Here are the Twitter handles for the main participants:

David Ortiz: @davidortiz
Jose Bautista: @JoeyBats19
Matt Kemp: @TheRealMattKemp
C.J. Wilson: @str8edgeracer
