Mike Lowell has come to terms with his retirement, but he admits that he misses the challenges of the game during the summer months.
Now, Lowell is a full-time father, which means his challenges now lie in how he's going to entertain his children for 18 hours before he puts them to sleep at night.

Lowell, who was given the Baseball Legacy Award at the 10th annual "The Tradition," also said that he's honored to be linked to some of Boston's other great athletes.
