Report: Santonio Holmes, Jets Agree to Five-Year Contract The Jets' free-agency puzzle is one of the biggest storylines this week, but the team may have secured one of its most important pieces.

Wide receiver Santonio Holmes has agreed to a five-year deal with New York, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Holmes, 27, played just 12 games last season due to a violation of the league's substance abuse policy. Despite that, he finished the season with the third-most receptions (52) on the Jets and was second in receiving yards (746). His six touchdown receptions were second most on the team, and he added nine catches for 127 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Jets' three postseason games.
