Tom Brady: 'I Feel About As Good As I Can Feel' FOXBORO, Mass. — Four practices into training camp, quarterback Tom Brady hasn't shown any ill effects from the right foot injury that hampered him last season and forced him to undergo surgery.

"I feel really good," Brady said after Friday morning's practice. "I feel about as good as I can feel."

There was one curious moment early in Friday afternoon's session when Brady went to the sideline, took off his right cleat and sock, and had a trainer tend to his foot. Though it wasn't possible to diagnose the issue, it appeared to be minor, such as a blister or something of the like.

Brady is coming off an historic season, passing for 3,900 yards, 36 touchdowns and just four interceptions while setting a record with 335 consecutive passes without a pick. He was also the first unanimous MVP in NFL history.

After the madness of the lockout finally ended, Brady is obviously excited to see if he can keep the good times rolling.

"I think we’re all excited to be playing football again," Brady said. "We had a good day [Thursday]. As coach always says, we have to string them together. It’s a long process. It’s a long season. It’s a long camp. Coach talks about having a real short term focus, and I think that it’s a quite a few young players, new players, veteran players that all need to get on the same page and that’s what we’re working to do."
