What's the Best Part of Fourth of July? The Fourth of July has a little something for everyone. Whether you're a sports enthusiast, a fan of eating excessively or just a fan of America in general, Independence Day is a time to kick back and celebrate.

Seriously, what beats a good old-fashioned cookout on a hot Summer day? You grab some burgers, a few hot dogs and maybe even a couple beverages. It's the ultimate occasion for pigging out.

But then again, Major League Baseball always offers up its own special plate — a heavy dose of baseball action all day and night — because, after all, the game of baseball is as American as it gets. It's the national pastime and it personifies summer.

But even after the sun goes down, the party is just getting going because, in addition to all of the baseball you can handle, you'll likely be exposed to all the fireworks you can handle. Fourth of July and fireworks are essentially synonymous, right?

Or if none of these tickle your fancy, maybe it's just the opportunity to hang out with family and friends that really satisfies you the most.

No matter how you celebrate the occasion, though, the Fourth of July is an opportunity for Americans to step back and appreciate the great nation in which they live.
