Patriots rookie offensive tackle Nate Solder would no doubt love to get where Patriots veteran offensive guard Logan Mankins is right now. On Thursday, Solder got his first chance to learn from Mankins and the rest of the veteran offensive line.
Solder and Mankins both made their debuts on Thursday. Mankins returned as the new CBA was ratified, while Solder's debut came as the first-round pick signed a contract with the Pats.
The big rookie out of Colorado said that he's looking forward to the chance to learn from the a veteran group of offensive linemen, calling his situation a "fantastic opportunity."
