Maple Leafs Compare Yoga to Longer, More Painful Hockey FightsHow will the Maple Leafs be preparing for their game against the Bruins on Thursday night? Apparently, with yoga.

Left winger Jay Rosehill is one of several Leafs who admits to doing yoga to MapleLeafs.com, comparing it to a long and painful hockey fight.

Despite that characterization, about half of the team now professes to training with yoga.

"If you were to tell me four years ago I would be doing yoga and Pilates, I would have said you were crazy," admits teammate Joffrey Lupul, who reconsidered after undergoing back surgery.

According to the article, the team got wise to yoga after tough guys Tie Domi and Eric Lindros began doing it a couple of seasons ago. And when those guys do something, the rest of the room takes notice.

Ultimately this isn't too unusual, since many players — including the Bruins' own Tim Thomas – practice yoga regularly.

But comparing it to a hockey fight? Seems a bit much.
