Rob Ray spent more than 13 seasons with the Buffalo Sabres and knows a thing or two about sticking up for a teammate. So when the Sabres did nothing following Milan Lucic's hit on Ryan Miller, he was very disappointed.
Ray, who played with Buffalo from 1989-2003, said the Sabres had the players on the ice who would do something, so it was a bit surprising to see Lucic get let off the hook. And while he would have liked to have seen the Sabres take more initiative, he doesn't expect too much to happen in the way of fights when the teams hook up in Buffalo on Wednesday night.
