Luis Suarez Says He's Fit to Play For Urugay Against Italy Despite Back PainLuis Suarez complained of back pain Friday after scoring all four goals in Uruguay's win over Chile. ESPN reports the Liverpool star is considering sitting out Tuesday's upcoming friendly against Italy, but will let his coach make the call.

"I was a little scared by the pain I had in the game but treatment I had was just a precaution and it does not hurt," Suarez said to Uruguayan newspaper El Pais. "There will be no problem but the decision is going to be the coach [Oscar Tabarez].

The Uruguayan's goal explosion was even more impressive, considering he only played 77 minutes in the contest. He was withdrawn after complaining of back pain.

Suarez has made a pair of trans-Atlantic flights in just over a week's time in order to play for his country. The strain of travel is an issue for Suarez, as Liverpool readies itself for a series of games against top opposition.

"I risk a lot to Liverpool," he said. "I have a very important game next weekend against Chelsea. I love to play every game for the national team but now they are several tough matches in the club and you have to give a little priority."

Liverpool will hope Tabarez rests Suarez. He has the key figure in the Reds' quest for a top-four finish in the English Premier League.
