Andy Brickley Says Tyler Seguin's Actions 'Bothersome,' Hopes Young Forward Learns From DisciplineEveryone had an opinion on Tyler Seguin's missed breakfast Tuesday that resulted him in having to sit out the Bruins' loss to the Jets on Tuesday night. NESN's Andy Brickley touched on it as it happened, and he followed that up on Wednesday morning.

Much of Brickley's weekly radio spot on WEEI's Dennis and Callahan Morning Show centered around the disciplinary actions taken on the 19-year-old after he supposedly overslept Tuesday morning.

"I hope it bothers him that he let his team down," Brickley said, in wake of Boston's loss to the Jets, ending a 14-0-1 streak for the B's. "I hope this coaching moment, this teaching moment has the impact it should have.

For Brickley, one of the biggest problems with the incident is that this isn't the first time that Seguin

"It's bothersome that it's happened more than one time," Brickley said. "You hope that young players learn their lessons and all they need is that one time where it gets your attention and you make the necessary changes in the way you approach your daily routine, particularly on a game day."

Brickley isn't the only one who may be concerned with Seguin's tendencies, as Brick speculated Seguin's teammates likely weren't very happy with him missing breakfast and perhaps hurting the team Tuesday night.

"Yes," Brickley answered when asked if he thought Seguin's teammates were upset. "They had a good thing going. 14-0-1. They hadn't lost in regulation. They understood that this was going to be a difficult game, a challenging game given all the circumstances and that they needed everybody on board and doing what they needed to do. You hope that he wasn't just watching the game and having a good time and just laughing it off. You hope that it had major, major impact and I think the players that have been around for a long time deliver that message as well."
