Vote: Is Chris Paul-Blake Griffin the Best 1-2 Punch in the NBA?The news of the Los Angeles Clippers' acquisition of Chris Paul obviously came as good news to long-suffering Clips fans. The move should also come as good news for fans of the NBA, at least for the nights that L.A. isn't playing your favorite team.

Pairing Paul with Blake Griffin will give hoops fans the chance to see two of the most exciting players in the game pair up on a nightly basis. You can already see the highlight-reel alley-oops between Paul and Griffin. And if you miss those, don't worry, they'll be replayed over and over and over again on SportsCenter and the like.

Dynamic duos are nothing new in today's NBA, though. Miami has its trio of All-Stars, but let's face it. The Heat run off of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Chris Bosh is just a nice complementary piece, but Wade-James is about as good as it gets when it comes to 1-2 punches.

Another good duo does its work in Oklahoma City. Kevin Durant has obviously taken the Association by storm as one of the game's best young scorers, but don't forget about his point guard, Russell Westbrook. Together, the youthful tandem gives the Thunder a chance to win every night, as both of those players have the ability to take over a game at the drop of a hat.

The Atlantic Division has no shortage of terrific twosomes, either. Here in Boston, Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett have the pick-and-roll down to a science, while last season's midyear trade that sent Carmelo Anthony to New York to play with Amare Stoudemire gives the Knicks a formidable core to say the least.
