Vote: Is Tim Tebow or Broncos Defense a Bigger Threat to Patriots This Weekend? The Patriots face perhaps their last tough test of the year in the Denver Broncos before wrapping up the season against the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.

The Broncos are winners of six straight and are 7-1 this season since Tim Tebow took over at quarterback. Denver has trailed in the fourth quarter in six of the Broncos’ seven wins with Tebow. Their last loss was a lopsided 45-10 game against the Detroit Lions on Oct. 30.

While he hasn’t been an efficient passer (48.5 completion percentage), Tebow’s running ability, combined with the Bronco’s nontraditional offense, has made a recipe for success. The former Florida quarterback has taken care of the ball, only committing five turnovers (two interceptions, three fumbles).

Equally, if not more, impressive as Tebow has been the Denver defense. During the team’s six-game winning streak, opposing teams average just 17 points per game. Led by Defensive Rookie of the Year candidate Von Miller, Denver has sacked opposing quarterbacks 37 times this season, fourth most in the NFL. When it comes to defending the pass, the Broncos are in the middle of the pack. They allow an average of 232.9 passing yards per game, ranked 16th in the league.
