Zdeno Chara is officially listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury, although a report from The Boston Globe indicates he could miss this week's three games. If Chara does miss time, it will leave the Bruins with a huge hole in their defense.
NESN's Naoko Funayama talked about what Chara's absence would mean for the B's on NESN Daily. She said that life without the Bruins captain would force the rest of the team's defensemen to elevate their game, as Chara's scoring ability and intimidation factor would surely be missed.
