Charles Barkley, Kevin Harlan and Reggie Miller thought they were having a candid off-air conversation during a commercial break in the first quarter of the Atlanta Hawks-Miami Heat game on TNT Thursday night. But for customers using the NBA League Pass online, the mics were on and the camera was rolling.

The conversation turned to Barkley’s recent weight loss and his sponsoship with Weight Watchers, when Barkley admitted he couldn’t believe he was getting paid to lose weight.

“I thought this was the greatest scam going, getting paid to watch sports,” Barkley tells his fellow announcers. “This Weight Watchers thing is a bigger scam.”

Barkley details the way his sponsorship is fulfilled, but then turns his attention to how much he dislikes the Atlanta Hawks and how they’re just a “bunch of nice guys.”

“I can’t stand to watch this Atlanta Hawks team play,” Barkley tells Harlan.

“This game is terrible,” Harlan agrees. Interestingly enough, the Heat ended up winning the game in triple overtime in a decidedly “not terrible” game.

Video of the entire conversation was captured below, take a look.
