Cory Schneider to Start Over Roberto Luongo Against Bruins in Stanley Cup Finals RematchDarn.

Cory Schneider is expected between the pipes for the Canucks on Saturday, getting the nod over Roberto Luongo from coach Alain Vigneault.

Schneider confirmed the fact after practice on Friday, as reported by NESN.com’s Douglas Flynn.

During the Stanley Cup finals between the Bruins and Canucks, Luongo was abysmal on the TD Garden ice, getting pulled twice. The goaltender was 0-3 in the three games in Boston, with a 8.05 goals-against average and a .773 save percentage.

Schneider, who is familiar with the Garden after playing goalie for Boston College, brings a 2.15 goals-against average and .931 save percentage into Saturday’s showdown.
