The Red Sox have the top three starters in their rotation set in Jon Lester, Josh Beckett and Clay Buchholz. But beyond that trio, we could see come competition heat up during spring training.
Red Sox general manager Ben Cherington joined NESN's Don Orsillo and Peter Gammons on Red Sox Hot Stove Live on Tuesday, during which he discussed the current state of the team's rotation. Cherington said that Alfredo Aceves, Daniel Bard, Felix Doubront and Andrew Miller will be among those competing for the final two spots, although he's not ruling out adding more pieces to the mix.
