Report: Urban Meyer Bans Ohio State Football Players From Using TwitterThe Ohio State Buckeyes won't be playing in a bowl next season, and they won't be tweeting, either.

New head coach Urban Meyer has banned his players from using Twitter, according to a report by Rob Oller.

Oller made the report via Twitter.

With Ohio State still feeling the effects of violations under head coach Jim Tressel, Meyer is likely trying to make the program look as clean as possible. Preventing an angry 19-year-old from speaking his mind 140 characters at a time isn't the worst way to get that done.

The next thing on Meyer's to-do list might be to shut down that fake Twitter account that makes fun of him.
