Tim Wakefield says he has received interest from a few other teams, but if it's up to the 45-year-old knuckleballer, he'll play one more farewell season in Boston.

The Red Sox have taken fliers on just about every pitcher available, and Wakefield wants to be part of their plans for 2012. Exactly what role he would hold is uncertain, but that's the way it has been for Wakefield the past few years.
