Vote: Who Do You Think Was the Anonymous Jets Source Who Called Mark Sanchez 'Lazy'?The Jets failed to make the postseason after losing their final three regular-season games. But the aftermath of that collapse is what has been truly ugly.

There were tears, bird-flipping and finger-pointing in the New York locker room when the players cleaned out their lockers following their loss in the season finale. But now, things are heating up even more, with an anonymous source calling Mark Sanchez “lazy,” and even saying he’d trade Sanchez if it meant the team could bring Peyton Manning aboard.

“We have to bring in another quarterback that will make him work at practice,” an unidentified player told The New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta. “He’s lazy and content because he knows he’s not going to be benched.”

Offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, who’s been criticized for failing to elevate the play of Sanchez and the Jets’ offense, walked away from his position on Wednesday, adding more fuel to the offseason fire.

Wide receiver Santonio Holmes has been the subject of scrutiny this offseason, as well, due to his tumultuous behavior. Holmes reportedly clashed with Sanchez in the huddle and became combative at the end of the season, causing many to question his leadership.

Rex Ryan, meanwhile, has tried to keep everything intact, but even he admits he lost control of the locker room toward the end of the season.

But who spilled the beans when it came to calling Sanchez “lazy” and subsequently vouching for Peyton Manning?
