Bill Belichick, Patriots Work Halftime Break Into Practice RoutineWe've all heard of coaches making their players practice outside in the cold to simulate future gametime conditions, but adding a 31 minute break into the middle of a practice to simulate a halftime experience? Now that's creating a solid game plan.

Head coach Bill Belichick isn't taking any chances this time around. He has created a different game plan for almost every scenario. One game plan for a healthy Rob Gronkowski, one for an inactive Gronk as well as a game plan for an unhealthy Aaron Hernandez, just in case.

This probably explains why the Hooded Genius is pulling off an unprecedented move in coaching by forcing the players to take a halftime break midway through practices.

"Coach Belichick is a genius," Patriots running back Stevan Ridley said to ESPN Insider Adam Schefter. "He's special. That was coach Belichick doing his thing."

Belichick has won five Super Bowl's during his Hall of Fame-like career, and his experience coaching played a huge role in his decision to prepare his team for the two halves of football they will be playing come Sunday.
