Brandon Lloyd Says He Admires Tom Brady, Interested in Joining PatriotsThe possibility of free agent Brandon Lloyd joining Tom Brady in New England has piqued the interest of Patriots fans this offseason, and it appears the feeling is mutual from the former Pro Bowl receiver.

Lloyd spoke glowingly about the Patriots organization, and expressed an interest in possibly reuniting with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels during an interview with Mike Florio on Pro Football Talk Live on Monday.

"Yes, I find that very interesting," Lloyd said of possibly signing with New England. "I would like to entertain that and see where that goes. There is no bones about that."

The 2010 Pro Bowler also spoke about his admiration for quarterback Tom Brady and the so-called "Patriot way."

"I really admire Tom Brady. I admire that organization and how they run things over there," he said. "I'd definitely be interested in hearing how I could possibly fit into that equation."

Lloyd expanded on his interest level, explaining why he likes McDaniels' expansive offensive system and how it is very receiver friendly.

"I've been very successful in Josh McDaniels' offense," Lloyd said. "He gave me a really large route tree and just the way the plays were designed, I was put in positions where I could just make catches.

"I wasn't expected to do anything that I wasn't good at and I think that's what he did for all the receivers," Lloyd explained. "He really puts guys in situations to where we're confident and we can perform at maximum levels."

Lloyd had a career year in 2010, catching 77 passes and leading the NFL with 1,448 receiving yards. The 30-year-old followed that with another solid season in 2011, splitting time between the Denver Broncos and St. Louis Rams, and snagging 70 balls for 966 yards and five touchdowns.
