A disallowed goal in the first period of the Bruins' divisional showdown with the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night was a momentum killer and ultimately changed the entire complexion of the game.
Milan Lucic's first period score was waved off after Bruins forward Rich Peverley was called for goalie interference. Instead of knotting the score at 1-1 midway through the opening frame, the Bruins were back playing from behind, which the Sabres capitalized on the rest of the night en route to a 6-0 shutout.
NESN's Jamison Coyle and Barry Pederson broke down the play and the rest of the action after the game.
Take a look at Pederson and Coyle's analysis in the video above.
