Chris Neil is no stranger to delivering big hits, but his collision with Johnny Boychuk in Ottawa on Saturday night was downright brutal.
Neil's hit appears to be clean, but the veteran tough guy absolutely unloaded on the Bruins defenseman. The play was about as hard an impact as you'll see, and both players were shaken up as a result of it.
It was the first of two big hits in the third period, as Senators center Kyle Turris also delivered a big blow on B's defenseman Joe Corvo. Turris' hit, however, was much more questionable.
