The NHL trade deadline can be an anxious time in many locker rooms. That's why David Krejci wanted to keep things loose for the Bruins on Monday.
Krejci joked around in the minutes leading up to the deadline, easing the tension by saying that teammate Tyler Seguin had been dealt to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Rick Nash. Nash, of course, was the subject of many trade rumors in recent weeks.
Everyone knew Krejci was obviously joking, which led to some laughs and lowered everyone's blood pressure momentarily. The Bruins ended up acquiring Brian Rolston, Mike Mottau and Greg Zanon on Monday, but it didn't come at the expense of any current roster players.
Check out Krejci's antics in the video above.
