Jerry York’s Enthusiasm Contagious, Big Reason for Boston College Coach Reaching 900 Wins

Boston College head coach Jerry York picked up his 900th career victory on Friday night, making him just the second coach to accomplish that feat.

And while there’s no denying the knowledge and leadership that York brings to the table, it’s his enthusiasm that’s truly remarkable. He’s one of the most passionate coaches in sports, and it’s translated into success for the BC hockey program.

NESN’s Craig Janney caught up with York after his 900th win, during which he discussed what keeps him going after so many years behind the bench. To hear from York, check out the video above.
