Johnny Boychuck just signed a new contract, but the scrappy defenseman is playing with the same intensity he always has.
Boychuck was once again a menace in the defensive zone Friday, making the Sabres' forwards continually work to get shots off on goaltender Tuukka Rask. Boychuck blocked a number of shots and helped the Bruins at least pull a point out of their trip to Buffalo.
