Kyle Turris' phone should be blowing up with a call from Brendan Shanahan very soon.
That's because the Senators center delivered a very questionable hit during the Bruins' 5-3 win in Ottawa on Saturday night.
Turris lined up Joe Corvo before leaving his feet to deliver a blow to the Boston defenseman. The play briefly shook up Corvo, led to a two-minute boarding call on Turris and drew the ire of NESN's Jack Edwards, who called the hit "chicken."
The blow was the second big hit dished out by the Senators in the third period, although Chris Neil's hit on Johnny Boychuk was at least clean.
Check out the hit in the video above and you be the judge of whether or not Turris will be forced to miss some time as a result of it.
