Report: Kobe Bryant Suffered Mild Concussion in NBA All-Star GameDude, it was only the All-Star Game.

Kobe Bryant, who never saw a competition of any type he didn't want to win at all costs, suffered a mild concussion in addition to a broken nose in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Dwyane Wade drew blood on a hard foul on Bryant in the third quarter of the game, and Bryant's nose was visibly bent in the fourth quarter.

As if LeBron James wasn't already taking enough heat for failing to challenge Bryant in the waning seconds, this means James was unwilling to take on a defender two inches shorter, 40 pounds lighter, with a broken nose and a concussion. Not exactly going for the jugular.

By the way, Bryant reportedly plans to play Wednesday in the Lakers' first game after the All-Star break.
