Maybe a road trip is just what the Bruins need to right themselves.
The B's pulled out a much-needed win in Montreal after coughing up a 3-1 lead in the third period, but the Black and Gold prevailed in a shootout thanks to Tim Thomas' stellar goaltending. Benoit Pouliot's highlight-reel goal against his former team helped too, and the Bruins began their six-game road swing with two points on Wednesday night.
NESN Nation's Dan Duquette is giving Thomas and Pouliot our "Road Trip Rally" players of the game honors because the Bruins needed a boost and they got it from those two. Check out the video for more thoughts after this one and vote for your player of the game in the poll below.
