Kyle Turris' hit on Joe Corvo was a bit questionable, but Chris Neil's punishing blow on Johnny Boychuk was a legitimate, clean hit. And what a hit it was.
Neil leveled Boychuk in open ice, knocking the Bruins defenseman out of the game, and setting up a showdown between Neil and Zdeno Chara later on in the third period.
After the game, the Boston captain discussed Neil's hit and the ensuing fight, calling it clean, but saying that it was one of those situations in which the B's stick up for each other because they care about each so much.
