Zdeno Chara is certainly a deserving captain for the Boston Bruins. But the 6-foot-9 defenseman was having his fair share of struggles, along with the rest of the B's, over the past few months.
Those struggles quickly turned into success, as Chara was reunited with his playoff linemate, Dennis Seidenberg. The two immediately began meshing back into the top-level defensive pairing that was so feared and effective in last year's run to the Stanley Cup.
The pairing's resurgence has lit a spark under the Bruins and seems to have instilled some confidence in the club in recent games.
