Defenseman Torey Krug Chooses Bruins Coming Out of Michigan State (Video)

Most players are picked by their teams, but new Bruins defenseman Torey Krug — who wasn’t selected in this year’s draft coming out of Michigan State — got to make the pick himself when he signed a three-year deal with Boston this week.

Krug had his choice after going undrafted, and he said he singled Boston out for its winning tradition.

The defenseman, who isn’t eligible to play in the postseason, got to hang out with the stalwart of the Bruins defense, Zdeno Chara, and check out the Boston locker room Tuesday.
