Jerry York has been to seven national title games and what will be his 11th Frozen Four in 40 years of coaching at the collegiate level.
While those accomplishments are already amazing enough, since York's tenure at Boston College began in 1994 the coach has led the Eagles to 13 NCAA tournament apparances, 10 Frozen Four's, seven national championship games and three national titles.
The 67-year-old coach's track record is tremendous and he will undoubtedly go down as one of the greatest to ever sit on the bench. Yet, even with all his remarkable achievements, the Dorchester, Mass. native remains humble and is excitable as ever about the opportunity of competing for the biggest prize in the game.
Check out the video above to see York, senior captain Tommy Cross and goalie Parker Milner discuss their emotions and focus heading into next weekend's Frozen Four tournament.
