The Bruins generally have plenty of consistency when it comes to their defensive pairings. Sure, there's moving parts in the wake of injuries and other unforeseen events, but Boston's defensemen typically have an idea of who they're going to be playing alongside.
The B's find this to be beneficial, as it helps to have an idea of what to expect and how to play certain situations. However, the Bruins blue liners said they're prepared to play with anyone, as they know they could quickly be asked to change up their assignment on any given night.
NESN's Naoko Funayama touched on this topic with some of the Bruins defensemen, and asked them which of Boston's forwards would make the best D-man. The B's also discussed which defensemen are capable of moving up and playing forward.
