Brian Rolston Adds Mark Recchi-Like Veteran Leadership to Bruins Stanley Cup Run (Video)

When Mark Recchi decided to retire following the Bruins 2011 Stanley Cup championship run, the B's were left searching to replace the veteran role that the 20-plus year veteran filled.

At this season's trade deadline, Brian Rolston was traded over from the New York Islanders in what was viewed as one of the smaller deadline deals across the league. Well, nearly two months later, Rolston is playing some of his best hockey of the past few years and looks like an absolute steal for the suddenly streaking Bruins.

Rolston's leadership and veteran presence will be a huge boost for the B's this offseason, and may offer youngsters like Tyler Seguin and Jordan Caron another role model along the way.

Barry Peterson, Mark Mowers and Dale Arnold discuss Rolston importance on the Bruins quest for another Stanley Cup title.

Check out the video above to hear from Rolston and all about the winger's thoughts about the long postseason ahead.
