Daniel Nava Happy to Contribute to Red Sox’ Hopeful Turnaround (Video)

Daniel Nava is seeing his first big league action since 2000. And the 29-year-old outfielder is happy to be contributing to a hopeful Red Sox turnaround.

Nava helped the team Friday night, going 1-for-3 with a run and an outfield assist that helped Clay Buchholz remain confident and solid early on.

The journeyman wants to continue producing and hopes his time with the Red Sox will help get things going in the right direction.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
