Paul Pierce did his best Tim Tebow impersonation Tuesday night.
The Celtics captain scored 36 points in Boston's Game 2 win in Atlanta, leading Boston back from as many as 11 down in the second half to win 87-80.
Pierce's heroics were rather reminiscent of some of Tebow's comeback victories during the 2011-12 football season. The Truth flexed his basketball muscles with 14 rebounds and four assists as well, helping to make up for Rajon Rondo's presence on the floor. The point guard is suspended for a game.
And when it was all over, Pierce capped things off in the only way appropriate — with a "Tebow."
