Rangers Quickly Learning Playoff Beards Grow Thicker With Success, Something Bruins Discovered Last Season
Playoff beards can be itchy, annoying and even a bit disgusting after engaging in a 60-minute battle on the ice. But they're also welcomed by nearly every NHL player because they signify success.

The Rangers have enjoyed plenty of success this season. New York finshed the regular season as the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, and the Rangers have continued to thrive in the postseason, winning a pair of Game 7s en route to the Eastern Conference finals. In other words, their playoff beards are getting thicker by the minute.

You can bet the Rangers will be looking to grow out the beards as long as possible, though, as that would mean they're doing all right. The Bruins had a very long Stanley Cup run last season, so they know a thing or two about postseason facial hair — like how awesome it is.
