Vote: Who Is the Dirtiest Player in the NBA?The NBA is typically known as a “Diva sport.” LeBron James carrying a man’s handbag or Dwight Howard whining about his head coach creates a stereotype of a sport where players are both pampered and needy.

Then again, there are plenty of basketball players that are full of aggression and fueled by the intensity and passion for the sport. But that can draw a fairly fine line between appropriate play and that considered to be “dirty.”

Metta World Peace‘s controversial elbow to the head of James Harden near the end of the regular season is one clear instance of a dirty play, a reputation the man formerly known as Ron Artest has become quite accustomed to.

Los Angeles Clippers forward Reggie Evans is widely viewed as a dirty player in his own right, since grabbing Chris Kaman‘s “private parts” is certainly a testament to that perception.

In one of this year’s more high profile postseason series, two of the so-called dirtiest players are squaring off mano a mano. The Celtics Kevin Garnett is almost monthly called out by opposing players for his aggressive style in the post. Atlanta’s Zaza Pachulia has gained such a reputation too, primarily through dangerous plays like this one against Dwyane Wade.

There’s plenty of “dirty” players in the league, but which one do you believe is the dirtiest?
