The music that booms out of the loudspeakers at Fenway Park doesn’t just play by itself. No, it’s specially selected by a DJ whose name is — hold on now — TJ.
“TJ the DJ” tells NESN’s Jenny Dell he always wanted the job of picking what music gets to play at Fenway Park, so he sent in letters until one day the Red Sox invited him in for the job. He’s made it stick and now chooses every song, except for the classics played live on the ballpark organ.
Get a look inside the booth at Fenway Park and see TJ the DJ at the job in the above video.
