LeBron James' Free Throws in Waning Seconds of Game 2 Win Proof Heat Star May Have Found Clutch GeneLeBron James scored 32 points in the Miami Heat’s 100-96 victory in Oklahoma City on Thursday night. But two of those points mattered far more than the other 30.

As the game wore on down the stretch, Kevin Durant and the Thunder made a miraculous comeback to close the gap from 13 points early in the fourth quarter to just two with under a minute remaining. But as Durant missed an easy jumped in the lane, James was the one being sent to the line to try and ice the win in the final moments.

LeBron knocked down both free throws with ease, putting the Heat up four points with but seven seconds remaining and closing out a much-needed win for the Heat.

James ultimately scored just six points in the final quarter, but his late game free throws were show enough that the star forward may finally have discovered the ever sought after “clutch” gene. His fifth-straight 30-point night was extremely impressive, and aside from a questionable no-call late in the game, Miami was more than deserving of the victory.

Oklahoma City may need to look out as the series shifts back to Miami, tied 1-1, on Sunday as James will certainly try to utilize his new found friend.

The Indians have been on a pretty terrible stretch of late, losing five of their last seven games. But it looks like catcher Carlos Santana may be taking his frustration out on the wrong people: the fans.

Santana dove into the stands, while patrolling first base on Wednesday, and took down a Reds’ fan — and a pretty massive one at that — in the process. Check it out.
