Lil Wayne, Wale Among Rap Artists Known for Being Dedicated Sports Fans (Photos)After the Red Sox routed the Marlins in a 10-2 victory on Wednesday, they received a surprise visit from rapper Lil Wayne.

The headliner of YMCMB –– Young Money Cash Money Billionaires –– mingled with the team in the clubhouse and even took pictures with players, from David Ortiz to Cody Ross to Mike Aviles and even posing with Boston pitching legend Luis Tiant.

Of all the modern day rappers, Lil Wayne is one of the best known for bridging the gap between sports and entertainment. He has publicly professed his love for the Red Sox and the Green Bay Packers while being a mainstay at Miami Heat basketball games.
